COVID safety protocols
We are so grateful that we can open our doors again on May 19 and continue to offer you, our valued patients, the award-winning treatments you love and enjoy so much. Although the landscape is vastly different from only 3 months ago, we are still the same team, dedicated to honouring your beauty.
Here are just a few of the safety protocols we have implemented in anticipation of our reopening:
Pre-screening and intake forms
All of our patients will receive an email document prior to their appointments asking them for a health declaration. We will also request that all new patients complete their medical history and consent forms prior to their appointment day to facilitate a quick entry into the treatment room upon arrival.
Appointment scheduling
We are scheduling appointments to allow for no more than 2 socially distanced patients at a time in reception. We are also allowing enough time after each appointment to disinfect the room in preparation for the next patient.
Avoiding crowding
We request that patients not be accompanied by children, friends or relatives. If there is a medical reason or language difficulties, we ask that you clear your companion with us ahead of time. We also ask that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment.
Face masks
We request that patients arrive with their own non-medical face mask or face cloth. Should you forget your face mask we will provide you with one.
Acrylic barriers
You will be greeted by our reception staff from behind acrylic barriers. They are crisp and clean, and you will barely notice them.
Temperature checks
Upon arrival your temperature will be checked. If it exceeds 38 degrees celsius your appointment will have to be rescheduled. All staff will also have their temperatures monitored daily.
Hand washing and sanitizing
There will be two hand sanitizing stations when you arrive and 10 hand sanitizing stations throughout the clinic which we will expect you to use before and after your treatments.
Treatment room protocols
Treatment rooms will be sanitized and disinfected before after each patient with hospital grade disinfectant solution. Our doctor, nurse and clinicians will wear protective wear at all times.
We know this can sound daunting for many of you, and that is completely normal. We believe that with safety measures like these in place ours will be one of the safest destinations you would be visiting during your day. If you are still unsure about any of our safety protocols or whether you should be coming in or not, please do not hesitate to contact us with any of your questions or concerns. Our patient coordinators are here to guide and reassure you.
