How Long Do StarWalker® Treatment Results Last
Optimal results are achieved with a series of 6-8 sessions performed every 4 weeks for the face and every 8 weeks for the body. Once your desired complexion is achieved, we recommend that you complete additional maintenance treatments as needed; typically, these additional treatments happen 2-3 times per year. Your personalized consultation will discuss the frequency right for you.
How Long Does It Take to Recover from StarWalker®?
There is little to no down-time linked to a StarWalker treatment, however depending on the treatment type you may experience redness, mild swelling, pinpoint bleeding, or bruising. If you do experience any of these symptoms, they will resolve in as little as a few hours to 7-10 days depending on your skin’s sensitivity and the treatment intensity. When treating melasma or pigmentation of any kind you can also expect temporary darkening of the treated pigmentation. It is important to use a recommended medical-grade lightening agent to support and optimize the treatment outcome.
